– We are incredibly proud, but also humble to land this prestigious contract together with NLI, says Jan Brønsten the CEO of Trosvik Maritime AS. The contract includes delivery of mechanical fabrication and installation for the carbon capture plant that is under construction at Norcem in Brevik and means several years of work for the Trosvik Group.
– It’s really nice that such a great contract goes to a local company. It is also a good thing that our locations are so close to Norcem, in terms of efficiency and – not least – environmental footprint.
Creates local growth and jobs
– It is great that they chose locally, and we believe that the value of such a contract can provide great value beyond the actual delivery, says Brønsten. – It can quickly help to put us in a position to be able to compete for new large projects and assignments in the future.
Big contract The major contract was secured by NLI in collaboration with Trosvik and includes i.a. prefabrication and installation of 1000 tons of pipelines and steel structures, as well as installation of mechanical equipment. The carbon capture plant at Norcem will be completed in 2024. This means a secure job for Trosvik Industri over the next couple of years.
